MapMyRide routes from various team members

Tim's Lake Pontchartrain loop: View this route in MapMyRide

139 miles.

Bo's Red Bluff ride: View this route in MapMyRide

Bo says:
This Red Bluff route is a great ride to prep for Rouge Roubaix.
For south Mississippi, this is about as hilly as it gets. My ErgoMo showed over 2,000 feet of climbing during the 51 miles. The hill on Fire Tower road is the longest climb of about one mile. This first climb is about 12 miles south of Monticello. Of course, there are the two climbs on Hwy 587: Red Bluff at mile 30, the view here is great, and White Bluff at mile 35, the steepest grade of over 10%. Due to the climbing and slag sections, this route will help prepare you for the brutality of the course and gravel sections during the "Hell of the South" in March.

Kenny's Tour of New Orleans: View this route in MapMyRide

Kenny says:
The Tour of New Orleans is a year-round group ride. Originally set up as an alternative to the New Orleans Giro group ride/hammer-fest, it hopefully will become another route for New Orleans cyclists to keep from getting bored stiff from riding the levee or Lakeshore Drive. This ride starts at the Audubon Zoo and goes through Kenner, Lakefront, New Orleans East, 9th Ward, French Quarter, Garden District and Uptown. The pace (with the group) is typical winter training pace, nothing that'll make your eyes cross. It can also be easily added to for extra miles, or cut short at Lakeshore Drive, giving you the option of a 2,3 or 4 hours ride. As mapped, it is 53 miles and has a couple of grassy sections (100 feet or less) which are better than most paved roads in N.O.. Bring money for coffee and biegnets.

Reganton/Grand Gulf: View this route in MapMyRide

65 miles, add 38 to start/finish at the Hyde house. Plenty of good climbs on this one; particularly leaving Grand Gulf park.

Vicksburg/Crystal Springs/Vicksburg: View this route in MapMyRide

105 miles, good enough roads, zero traffic. Mostly out-and-back with a nice detour in the Reganton area.
